    A delightful country cottage <b>situated south of Carlisle with easy access to both the Lake District and South West Scotland (both within 30 minutes travel).</b> Ideal for families and suitable for holiday makers with limited mobility. The cottage is situated in a small hamlet 3 miles outside <b>Carlisle a city steeped in history, with its Castle.</b> Tullie House Museum, The Cathedral, Leisure complex many Restaurants and bars The Retreat is well equipped and has all the facilities expected in ones own home. It has its own private garden with furniture for those who want to just chill or dine outside. As neither of us are Cumbrians, we have no hesitation in saying that you will be sure of an excellent welcome, wherever you go in Cumbria. We came here on holiday from London and the welcome was so good we stayed!
    This property offers one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. Shower room with power shower, wc & wash. Lounge, leading to dining area, separate kitchen with breakfast bar.
